Please note: in the Tempter and the Squeezer, ties demote to the next lower number of picks. A tie in a 4 teamer will be deemed "No Action" and all monies refunded.
( A 5 teamer with 4 Wins and one Tie receives the payoff of a 4 teamer. Any loss is a loss.)

Please note: in the Horseshoe,Ties lose for a particular game, not for the entire wager. However there must be a minimun of 3 winners for action

1. All members must be at least 18 years of age.

2. Minimum bet over the phone is $25. Minimum wager online is $2. Maximums vary depending on the sport, call for details. 

3. All new accounts depositing $300 or more will be issued a free bet equivalent to 10% of the opening deposit (otherwise referred to as a Matchplay). 

4. TRANSFERRING FEES.
Transferring fees are reimbursed into the account on deposits processed via Western Union, Bank Wire, or Cashier's Check, of $500 or more. No charge for deposits processed via Neteller of $500 or more. 

5. TROPIC SPORTS reserves the right to limit or restrict any wager. 

6. TROPIC SPORTS reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. 

7. The Matchplay Policy.
Matchplays are a Courtesy Rebate at the Discretion of TROPIC SPORTS.  If a withdrawal has taken place in an account, the following deposit(s) need to exceed that withdrawal amount before matchplays are again issued. Matchplays will expire 60 days after being issued for all regular plan customers. In a matchplay, the customer is risking $0.00 to WIN whatever the wager payoff might be. Matchplay winners must play through deposit money two times for validation.

8. REFER-A-FRIEND BONUS PROGRAM.
Receive a Free match play bet equivalent to 10% of any referral's opening deposit. When referring a new customer to TROPIC SPORTS, please keep in mind that in order to receive the Refer-A-Friend Bonus, you need to have an active account. TROPIC SPORTS needs to be informed of the referral within 10 days of the new account in order to receive the free match play bet. To withdraw the money from the referral bonus matchplays, the original account must remain active and the referred account must play through the original deposit money. 

9. All wagering calls are tape-recorded. When placing a wager, the clerk will always give you a read-back and ask for your pin number for confirmation on the wager. In the event of a claim, decisions are based on the approved read-back. If you accept an incorrect wager, it is your responsibility. All claims must be reported within 10 days of posting the wager in contention. We encourage all our customers to review their balance daily, through the Internet or with our clerks, to avoid delayed claims, and recommend all online players to keep track of the ticket numbers assigned to each wager. 

10. Horse Racing.
The following chart details max odds and payouts for all horse wagers accepted by Tropic Sports.

Once again, the max payout is the lesser of $2,500 or the odds paid per position.

The minimum bet per position on the phone is $5.

11. In the event of an obvious error on a posted line, wagers will be deemed " No action " and all monies refunded. 

12. In the case of an error made in depositing or the withdrawing of funds, TROPIC SPORTS reserves the right to correct the error by making the necessary adjustments without notice. 

13. There will be no refunds; changing of plays or switching of teams after an official wager has been placed. Exceptions are made, and are at Management's discretion. 

14. Maximum Parlay Payoff is $50,000.00

15. Players must remain active in order to qualify for a matchplay bonus, and to have access to our wagering department's services. "Active" is defined as maintaining a balance of at least $25 USD in your account, or having a pending credit balance of at least $100 USD prior to playing the matchplay bonuses.

16. Standard Las Vegas rules apply to any rule or wager not covered by the rules and regulations contained herein. 

17.Rules on NASCAR Wagering Events:

NASCAR Motor Racing 

Odds on all major Nascar races are available.

Nascar Win Odds
You may wager on a driver to win the race at fixed odds. Wagering on the "Field" includes any driver that odds have not been assigned to.

Nascar Match-Ups
When wagering on a match-up, both drivers involved must start the race (cross the start/finish line) otherwise the wager is "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and money is refunded. In a case where the starting driver is replaced during the race with another driver from the same team, the position the new driver finishes in will be awarded to the original driver. This holds for wagering on win odds and/or match-ups. 

Nascar Match-Ups (Qualifying)
Qualifying match-ups are graded based on qualifying times (not the starting line-up). Qualifying match-ups are deemed action as soon as the driver starts the qualifying lap and the timer begins. If a driver has started the qualifying lap, but does not post a time because of mechanical failure, accident, etc. the wager will still be graded as action. If the driver fails to start the match for any reason, then the wager will be graded as no action, and money refunded.

Odds To Win The Pole-Pole bets are deemed action as soon as the driver starts the qualifying lap and the timer begins. If a driver has started the qualifying lap, but does not post a time because of mechanical failure, accident, etc. the wager will still be graded as action. If the driver fails to start the match for any reason, then the wager will be graded as no action, and money refunded.

Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here. 

18. Rules on GOLF Wagering:

Wagering on match-ups between golfers
The winner of the match-ups will be decided by which golfer ends up with the lowest score having played equal rounds. Both golfers must tee off in the tournament or the wager will be "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and all money will be refunded. If one of the golfers misses the cut, withdraws, or is disqualified during the tournament, the opposing golfer wins the match-up. 

19. SOCCER BETTING

Unless otherwise specified, all bets are for regulation time (first 90 minutes) only. Different bookmakers apply different sets of rules with regards to soccer betting. Please make sure you understand TROPIC SPORTS full set of rules before wagering on soccer. 

Postponed Games
If a game is postponed and rescheduled to occur within 48 hours of the original start time, all bets stand for soccer only. If rescheduled for more than 48 hours later, all single bets are void and wagers refunded while affected multiple bets will be recalculated excluding that leg.

20. Required lengths of a contest to be official for betting purposes: 

All sporting events must be played on the date and site scheduled unless otherwise specified.  If an event is postponed, suspended and/or rescheduled prior to meeting the requirements of an official contest for betting purposes, this automatically constitutes "no action.”  Rescheduled single bets are void and wagers refunded while affected multiple bets will be recalculated excluding that leg.

In baseball, any shortened game reverts to the last complete inning for betting purposes.

21.  When wagering on totals (aka over/unders) except in soccer, overtime periods are counted in the final score.

22.  On half time wagers, overtime periods are included as part of the 2nd half score.

23.  ONLINE ONLY: Members are responsible for any wagers placed on the Internet. Please refer to the open wager page for verification purposes.  If you notice an error, call immediately.

24.  Management reserves the right to adjust any wager, pay out or transaction in the interest of correcting a human or technical error. 

25.  When betting action on baseball, in the event of a pitching change, you will get an adjusted line based on the risk amount of your original bet.
